My friend Whitney Ullom shared this quote in her Mother Fire Circle last Sunday. (Highly recommend) It encapsulates so much of what I am often reckoning with.
How deeply I care about this BODY work, and how much it matters to me to dare.
This work I offer has the potential to drastically change lives and the world. To create freedom, and depth, and aliveness that so many people are longing for.
And yet…..there are so many that don’t dare.
I get it. It takes a lot of courage to meet yourself, to dive into those places, to choose to feel, to unwind, to free yourself.
But I know what’s at stake, how much it matters to dare.
Life. Life with a capital L. That’s what’s at stake. Your life. Your fire, your soul-essence, getting to be true to that, to have rich deep experience of being alive and is uniquely yours.
I often hear Mary Oliver’s words in my head. “ Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”
I will dare. And I will keep daring everyday, and I will support others in their daring as well.
